{"id":649,"date":"2012-02-07T08:58:01","date_gmt":"2012-02-07T13:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/garykahn.net\/yoga\/?p=649"},"modified":"2016-04-10T17:46:01","modified_gmt":"2016-04-10T21:46:01","slug":"meditation-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/garykahn.net\/yoga\/2012\/02\/meditation-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Thoughts for meditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tammy,<\/p>\n<p>Today I sat and meditated.\u00a0 For fifteen minutes I thought about normal things; like the garlic festival I will be going to and how garlic is supposed to be great for your health.\u00a0 I then pondered how many weeks it will take to get the smell out of my pores.\u00a0 Next I remembered something in the liquor store; they actually sell tequila in bottles shaped like rifles and hand guns.\u00a0 I know these might be cool at parties but what kind of message are they sending?\u00a0 After all, how accurately can you shoot when drinking?\u00a0 I started to think about the dinner I had with someone\u2019s elderly mother.\u00a0 The woman is in an assisted living facility but they don\u2019t shave her face.\u00a0 She has whiskers almost a half inch long but I don&#8217;t think she has a clue what the cat pose is.\u00a0 Do the workers leave this grotesqueness there to spite her since she is mean to everyone?<\/p>\n<p>What are you supposed to think about during meditation?\u00a0 Is there a right and wrong?
